Developers are submitting paid apps as of last week, but are not yet available to end users.

The Android Market blog states “initially, priced applications will be available to end users in the US starting mid next week.”

So around Wed Feb 18th.

Do you realize that none of your predictions in your “most popular” posts ever came to pass? No new battery, no cupcake, not the first time, or second. I am even doubting the veracity of paid apps, only because I saw it posted here.

I was going to keep my comments to myself until I saw that you rated a fart-app as one of the best of February. In doing so, you are acting as an enabler for these puerile developers, and therefore responsible for the flooding of the market with juvenile apps. Not to mention, your wrong post about cupcake lead to a frenzy of comments within the app store inquiring about cupcake. The only thing I can’t blame you for is the “first” meme, but only for lack of evidence. My point is that you should be more cognizant of what you post.
