When you were buying the "google"(G1) phone, were you promised that there are going to be the updates by a certain date? And, more then that, did anyone promise you the beauty of the cupcake at all at that time? Is it part of the contract to have a cupcake released by "google" and do it in a certain timeframe? My opinion is that G1 users have to appreciate the fact that the Google Team and T-Mobile are working on increasing the abilities and capabilities of the G1-phone... when the cupcake is going to be out you will know it, and you will have enough time to enjoy it... Personally, I choose not to waste my time on blogging and searching the web to find out about all the "rumors" on the cupcake, i think i can use my time more efficiently... all i want to know is that the development of the "update" is in the process, and that teams are making every effort to release it a.s.a.p...
