My Name is Michael Martin and I created Google And Blog (GAB) in June 2008 as a go to site for opinions and the latest and pertenant information on Android and any new gPhone coming out.


Also contributing to the site is Scott Webster who is also the founder and editor of AndroidGuys.com.

Scott works as a T-Mobile sales representative and is fascinated by the potential that exists with Android and feels like we’ve yet to see the big picture from Google.

For myself, I was born and raised in Somerset Massachusetts until graduating from UMass Dartmouth in 1999 with a Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering and a minor in German.

I took postgraduate classes at MIT as I worked in Cambridge, Massachusetts before ultimately moving to San Diego, California in 2004.

For almost 5 years I have been working in the SEO field as I have project managed search engine optimization campaigns for SC Johnson, IGN, Symbolic Motors, and currently The Active Network.

I will vary the posts within GAB to also provide useful information on SEO and interesting happenings within San Diego.

After the SMX Advanced Conference was the SEOMoz blowout party at the Garage bar after playing a brutal pool game pictured below with Google senior engineer of Webmaster Tools, Maile Ohye - who also has a part in Android’s development.
